Information stored on your device

Symptom journal entries, quiz and screening answers, exercise history, and generated reports are stored locally on your device. Steady does not operate an account system or a server that receives this information.

Purchases

Apple processes payments. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app-user identifier, product and transaction status, and limited app and device information needed to validate purchases and keep Pro access in sync. Steady never receives your payment-card details.

Optional analytics

Anonymous app-usage analytics are off by default. If you enable them in Settings, Amplitude receives feature-use events and limited app and device information. Events never include symptoms, journal text, quiz or screening answers, exercise feedback, or report contents. You can turn analytics off at any time to stop future collection.

Reports and sharing

Reports are generated on your device. Steady shares a report only when you choose an option in the system share sheet.

Advertising and tracking

Steady does not show third-party advertising, sell personal information, or use data to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.

Retention and deletion

Deleting the app removes information stored locally by Steady. Apple, RevenueCat, and Amplitude may retain transaction or analytics records under their own policies and legal obligations. Because Steady has no account, local journal data cannot be recovered after deletion.
